Our School
Our programs vary from private lessons to group piano classes, including theory and ear training. Our students have a high success rate in both national competitions and entrance exams, including the Associated Board of Royal School of Music (ABRSM) and the Trinity London exam.

Dr. Almeida, Lead Instructor and Program Director
Brazilian-born pianist Humberto Almeida, a Doctorate graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara, has garnered recognition for his exceptional talent and achievements. In his youth, prominent Brazilian newspapers hailed him as one of the most promising pianists emerging in the country’s musical landscape.

Dr. Almeida’s remarkable career has been marked by numerous awards and accolades for his performances and studies both in Brazil and abroad. In 1993, he made his debut with the esteemed Campinas Symphony Orchestra at the prestigious VII Eldorado Prize, Brazil’s most renowned music competition. Over the years, he has performed and graced television screens as a soloist with renowned orchestras across Brazil.Since relocating to the United States, he has captivated audiences with his recitals in the Americas and Europe. He frequently collaborates with esteemed musicians, showcasing his versatility as both a soloist and collaborative pianist.

Dr. Almeida’s musical journey began under the guidance of renowned teachers, including Paul Berkowitz, Sergio Gallo, Gilberto Tinetti, and Claudia Chueiri. During his 16-year residence in Auckland, New Zealand, he played a pivotal role as the Vice-Principal of Able Music Studio. Under his mentorship, many students from his school have achieved remarkable success, winning prestigious first prize awards in international competitions and securing admission to prestigious universities in America, England, and Australia.His exceptional musical prowess and dedication to teaching have earned him a reputation as one of the most sought-after piano teachers in New Zealand.
